At the Copic…Copic Cabana….

Is anyone a Barry Manilow Copa Cabana fan? That song may be too old for some but I sing it in my head whenever I see Copic Markers. This means I sing this song every time I’m in the store because we are stocked with Blending Trio and Color Fusion sets!

Each set features three markers, carefully chosen to help you take your artwork to the next level with flawless blends.

The Blending Trio sets are great for starting or extending your Copic marker collection. Each color combination has been specially selected to deliver perfect blends, every time. (Clicking on a picture will take you to a larger image.)

Copic Blending Trio

The Color Fusion sets are an affordable way to achieve perfect blends. This set contains three preselected colors in an ideal blending group. Grab all the sets in each color family to kickstart your Copic collection.

 Copic Fusion

Do you know what this means? It means there is no more guesswork when choosing colors.

Some great reasons to use Copics:

  • All of the markers can be refilled with ink and come with replaceable nibs or tips.
  • The labeling on the side of the markers is embossed so it will not rub off.
  • The ink in the Copics is an alcohol based dye ink. This formula allows you to blend the colors together without tearing up your paper like a water-based ink.
  • The ink has a guaranteed color consistency so you know your colors will always match and color smoothly.
  • As the alcohol evaporates the ink becomes acid free so it works great on paper-crafting projects.

These markers really bring your stamped images to life.

She Believed She Could, So She Did

Welcome! I’m so glad to have you here!

My name is Marty McGinnis. My philosophy in life, which I learned from my father, is no limitations. When you want to succeed then do it. I started my professional life as a teacher and then decided to follow my father’s footsteps into the world of insurance using this philosophy. I’ve been successful in insurance for over 30 years and although I love it, I’ll soon be retiring. My new dream is to open a craft store specializing in mixed media.

Don’t you love the feeling of starting on a new dream? I certainly do. I saw the quote, “She believed she could, so she did!” on the internet and immediately connected with it. I have enjoyed crafts my whole life. I love creating and using different media forms. Painting, embossing, scrapbooking, card making, doll houses and miniatures – I love it all! I also like teaching new art forms and enjoy seeing what people do with the new knowledge. This is why I want to open a craft store. In essence, I believed I could, so now I am!

My craft store, Creative Callings, will open March 15, 2013. I’m extremely excited to provide crafting supplies to the North Fort Worth area. My plan is to carry products that you can’t get at the big chain stores. Is there a certain item you’d like to have but have trouble finding? I do special orders as well.

Do you want to win free door prizes? Participate in Make-n-Takes? Learn how to incorporate the latest and greatest products into your own work? Then come to our grand opening on Friday, March 15! I’ll also have a list of available classes with samples of class projects.

I can’t wait to see each of you at the store and introduce you to my daughter, Christy, who will be managing the store. Christy will be coordinating crops, classes and special orders as well as handling the day-to-day operation of the store.

So, come visit our Grand Opening on Friday, March 15. Did I mention there will be free prizes? I love prizes. Who doesn’t, right? I hope to see you soon.

Keep Crafting,
