Because we just can’t get enough of those adorable owls in the Adorn-It Collection, we decided to offer another class featuring those colorful feathered friends. However, we couldn’t decide whether to do a scrapbook layout class or a card class. Well, when you can’t decide between two things then the best option is to choose both! So we created a class where you get to make a two-page layout AND two cards. It’s the best of both worlds!
Join us Thursday, April 18 at 6:30pm with our new instructor, Amanda Canale. The name of the class is Create with Amanda and it’s $20. Call the Creative Callings store today at 817-503-2450 to sign-up.
Oh how I love Graphic 45 papers. My current favorite is the French Country Collection. Just look at all this deliciousness.
Let me introduce you to:
and the star of the show….French Country
There are more papers in this collection and we have them all in the store.
I could just kiss these papers! But I won’t because that would be weird. So I did the next best thing. I decoupaged with them! What do you think?
Now this I may kiss for real. No, I’m still just kidding. I know that too would be just as weird. But can you blame me? Just look at how well the different patterns in this collection complement each Credit union other. Would you like to make your own? If so, call the store at 817-503-2450 to reserve a seat for the Decoupage Spice Box class scheduled Saturday, April 20 from 10:00am-1:00pm. The cost is $20.
All you need to bring for this class is a pair of scissors and a paper trimmer. We’ll supply everything else you’ll need to complete this project. And when you leave the class with your own scrumptious decoupaged box, I won’t say a word if you should feel the urge to kiss it!
Is anyone a Barry Manilow Copa Cabana fan? That song may be too old for some but I sing it in my head whenever I see Copic Markers. This means I sing this song every time I’m in the store because we are stocked with Blending Trio and Color Fusion sets!
Each set features three markers, carefully chosen to help you take your artwork to the next level with flawless blends.
The Blending Trio sets are great for starting or extending your Copic marker collection. Each color combination has been specially selected to deliver perfect blends, every time. (Clicking on a picture will take you to a larger image.)
The Color Fusion sets are an affordable way to achieve perfect blends. This set contains three preselected colors in an ideal blending group. Grab all the sets in each color family to kickstart your Copic collection.
Do you know what this means? It means there is no more guesswork when choosing colors.
Some great reasons to use Copics:
- All of the markers can be refilled with ink and come with replaceable nibs or tips.
- The labeling on the side of the markers is embossed so it will not rub off.
- The ink in the Copics is an alcohol based dye ink. This formula allows you to blend the colors together without tearing up your paper like a water-based ink.
- The ink has a guaranteed color consistency so you know your colors will always match and color smoothly.
- As the alcohol evaporates the ink becomes acid free so it works great on paper-crafting projects.
These markers really bring your stamped images to life.
